When clicked on, each bag reveals narratives, observations, sensory encounters and operates as a probabilistic network - the order of bags chosen influences the text, videos, and images seen.

Made as part of the virtual residency and exhibition platform SPUR, the work features films and conversations conducted at The Lemba Archaeological Research Centre, Cyprus.

β€œSPUR - a virtual residency platform uniting international graduates working across digital mediums. Spanning workshops, collaboration, and mentorship, the residency program facilitates new methodologies for working collectively online.

The fourteen SPUR residents explore the boundaries of their digital practice through a pseudo identity. In the culmination of this period of research and exchange, SPUR.WORLD employs the avatars’ speculative look in forming digital identity and environment.

Consisting of fourteen virtual worlds, the online exhibition represents the subconscious domain of the residents' custom avatars. Working within themes and representations of mysticism, ritual, and the natural world, the collective utilises game engine technology to form complex yet cohesive narratives.”
